A few weeks ago I went shooting and enjoyed myself. The only thing that kept it from being a totally awesome experience was the lack of somewhere dry and clean to set my first gun while shooting my second gun. I thought and thought and then thought some more, then the light bulb went on. Why not make a gun mat that would give me a clean dry surface for me to put my shooting paraphenilia on? This is what I came up with: The first image is a little blurry but it shows the gun placement on the mat.

I haven't used my mat yet, but I will post a reivew of it once I go shooting again. While we are on the topic of guns, I took some photos of my husbands favorite gun. It's my take on "Guns and Roses." The roses I used in the photos are dry roses that hubby dear gave me for Valentines Day a year ago.
